Many publications are available in Open Access. The coronavirus pandemic, and resulting restrictions on personal meetings, led to an increase in remote working. As vaccination rates increase and the pandemic recedes, parts of the workforce will come back to the offices, while others may opt to continue working remotely. This means that managers will have to oversee hybrid teams, i.e. teams that contain teleworking colleagues as well as colleagues that are working on-site. While this situation offers new opportunities for institutions and employees to work differently (e.g. potential better work/life balance for staff, a decrease in the number of people commuting), it also gives rise to new issues that managers may have to address.
This Library Guide contains resources on how to manage hybrid teams.
