When a device is connected to GSC network (wireless or wired) access to international digital newspapers is granted. In case of a laptop when they connect with Pulse, then it's detected as connected to the Internal network because they receive an internal GSC IP address.
In case of mobile devices, they don't use Pulse secure, they have a special VPN tunnel when accessing Domus, but they don't have GSC IP address. For this reason, it only works automatically when the device is connected to WIOLAN or CONSILIUM wireless network. Access every 3 days from your laptop connected to the Council to renew the radiant access and you will read it on all the mobile devices.
It looks like you have opted out of the hotspot, so you have no longer sponsored access from the Council - this is indicated by the grey teacup icon on the top left. Please click on the grey teacup and then "activate hotspot".
PressReader offers more than 7000 titles but not every title is in it. The Council Library subscribes to many of the titles outside this catalogue (FT, The Economist, Le monde…) and you will find them by searching Eureka, our catalogue and discovery service.
PressReader is always actualising its catalogue and you can propose new titles by contacting the Council Library. New titles are regularly added (and others can disappear).
Please note that while being in Belgium, you cannot access Belgian newspapers on PressReader. This is part of their policy. The same applies when you are abroad, then you cannot read most country's national newspapers, but the Belgian newspapers will be available.
What does that mean? It means that during these two days you can read everything on PressReader as long as you have internet access. On the third day, you need to reconnect to PressReader from a device on the GSC IP range, being at work, in the teleworking environment or using the wi-fi in the GSC buildings.
