Many publications are available in Open Access. The EU is committed to multilateralism, with a strong and effective United Nations at its core. This commitment is rooted in the conviction that to be able respond to global crises, challenges and threats, the international community needs an efficient multilateral system, founded on the UN Charter and the three pillars of the UN system.
Over the years the EU has established a strong relationship with the UN. Cooperation takes place on a broad range of areas covered by the different UN bodies and organisations. The EU and its Members States are also the largest donor to the UN system, and the EU has a special observer status at the UN General Assembly (UNGA).
This Library Guide provides access to relevant and authoritative resources related to the relationship between the EU and UN. This includes books, articles, databases, websites, podcasts, videos and EU publications.
