In the EU this progress is due to legislation, the integration of gender perspectives across all policies, and targeted measures for empowering women.
To help readers gain a deeper understanding of the issues related to gender equality the Council Library has compiled a library guide of relevant resources.
Browsing through the tabs you will find books and articles, EU publications, podcasts, videos and websites.
